By using this site and / or accessing the "Free Lit Archive" you agree it is your sole responsibility to determine and adhere to the Public Domain regulations for your location, and to abide by all governing laws. The "Free Lit Archive" uses the word "Free" in reference to its Collection/Archive that contains freely accessible Public Domain Literature, which is designated differently from the other intellectual property content on this site such as artwork or blog posts (see more below under #2: Use License).
The "Free Lit Archive" of Public Domain literature is based on USA Copyright Law and is intended as a resource for researching Public Domain literature. This provided Collection/Archive is not guaranteed as in the Public Domain. Some of the literature may not be Public Domain in countries other than the USA.
Access to the "Free Lit Archive" is provided at no cost to you and is granted for scholarship and research purposes. Your use of such content is solely at your own risk. While we collect Public Domain content, it is possible someone may express a desire for documents not to be included in the Collection/Archive (by contacting us at freelitarchive@gmail.com). If the author or publisher of some part of the Archive does not want a work in our Collection, then we may remove that section of the Collection without notice.
Because the content of the Collection/Archive comes from around the world and from many different sectors, the Collection/Archive may contain information that might be deemed offensive or otherwise objectionable.
